Wayne Walrath’s AdSense-Deluxe is a popular WordPress plugin with advanced options for managing the automatic insertion of Google AdSense to WordPress posts. With this easy-to-use plugin, you can quickly place Google ads into your blog posts, and managing when and where those ads are displayed.

Even though named as “AdSense” something, it really doesn’t matter if it’s AdSense or anything else. This plugin can manage other ads too, - Yahoo Publisher Network (YPN) ads, your own ads, or any text/image you want to put into your blog.

After you get your own AdSense account, you ‘ll be able to get the ad scripts (which are JavaScripts) and insert them into your web contents. Google is smart enough to show ads that are relevant to your site topic. When people click, you earn. It’s that simple.

Installing AdSense-Deluxe is easy. Detailed instrucitons can be found the The readme.txt file. Although the unzipped package include several files and folder. You only need to upload one file, “adsense-deluxe.php” to the server in “\wp-content\plugins” directory.

After installation, log into admin pannel, select Plugins tab, and activate this plugin. Then click Options tab, you should see a new “AdSenseDeluxe” sub-menu under it. That’s where you manage your ads scripts. The usage instructions are on the lower page.

Basically, to insert an ad into a post content, add

If you want to put ad into WordPress templete file, use

<?php adsense_deluxe_ads(’Ad_Name’); ?>

It’s that simple. I just get my Google AdSense up and running.
