There are many casual blogs that are cool and fun. But if it is too casual, it may lose authority since people may not treat it seriously, I believe that could affect profitability of the blog. I want my blog site looks professional, serious, and authoritative.

By looking around many blogs, I determined a profit-minded blog should always have the following 3 basic pages:

1. The About Page - That’s where you introduce yourself to the blogging world no matter you are a big organization or just one person. you tell the bogging community who you are as a real person, or an organization built by real people. Get started to let people know you and build trust on you.

2. The Contact Page - Make sure your are real, live, and reachable. I don’t need to talk about how crucial the communication is to the success of internet business, but I have implemented the web-based contact form in the Contact page in my blog using Secure Form Mailer Plugin. A tip was posted for Add a Contact Form to WordPress Blog Site by Secure Form Mailer Plugin.

3. The Privacy Page - Privacy is so important to everyone on the net. All of top grade websites provide a privacy policy, so that I made my own Privacy page too. I reviewed several policies and combined them to craft a generic one for my own use. If you need to put one up quickly, may copy mine. Some website also provide Legal Terms in a separate page, but I just put legal term of use stuff in the Privacy page.
